Welcome to the Three Lotus Dragon

Our logo is a pictorial of our philosophy of healing. The colors of the logo represent qi, jing and shen and are the color scheme of Mardi Gras from Dr. Brazie’r Cajun roots and the history of his ancestors as healers.

The pyramid arrangement of the logo represents high spirituality. A pyramid is a very powerful healing space.

The acupuncture needle is one of the tools Dr. Brazie’r uses to treat his patients. Herbs represented by the lotuses are also another modality used, each lotus represents a treasure: Qi, Jing, and Shen.

The dragon is a mystical and magical creature of power. The dragon wraps around the needle to represent the power of the needle to heal and the rod of Asclepius. The true ancient symbol for medicine. There are many dragons, each has its own special myth. The Lotus Dragon is the dragon of longevity. To achieve longevity one must guard their three treasures Qi, Jing and Shen. Hence our logo represents our motto.

The Acupuncturist’s Oath

On my honor I solemnly promise, as a physician of the oriental medical arts, to humbly practice my profession to the best of my ability. This means that when I treat an illness, I will calm my spirit and fix my resolve.

I will not give way to wishes and desires but develop an attitude of compassion and vow to rescue from suffering all sentient beings. When someone comes to me for help, I will not ask if the patient is noble or common, rich or poor, old or young, beautiful or ugly. Strangers, family, good friends, foolish and wise are all the same and I will think of them as my closest relatives. I will look on others’ sufferings as my own and be deeply concerned and anxious to relieve the distress. Day and night, in cold and heat, in hunger, thirst, and fatigue I will help with a kind heart and a kind treatment.

I will be respectable and listen with love and understanding to my patients. I will strive to master all the medical literature, working carefully and tirelessly. I will be modest about my abilities and respectful with other physicians.

I will have integrity with my patients and my business practices. I will be proud enough to practice my medical art to the best of my ability and be humble enough to call for assistance when necessary.

I see my ability to be a great physician of Oriental Medicine as a gift to be shared with humanity.

A Great Physician should not pay attention to status, wealth or age; neither should he question whether the particular person is attractive or unattractive, whether he is an enemy or friend, whether he is a Chinese or a foreigner, or finally, whether he is uneducated or educated. He should meet everyone on equal grounds. He should always act as if he were thinking of his close relatives.

Dr. Brazie’r is a healer. I was a bit nervous when I started going to acupuncture. Then I kept coming back for all my problems went away and I felt better physically and mentally after each treatment. He takes insurance so it’s easier for the pocket. Thank you for taking care of me, Dr. Brazie’r.

Dr. Brazie’r is more than acupuncturist to me… He’s a friend who really cares about your well-being overall and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure your experience is a 5 star one. Indeed it was 5 stars… every single time.

My weekly appointments with Dr. Brazie’r have become an essential practice for my well being, pain, and health. After suffering for nearly a year with neck and back pain from a car accident, I finally sought out an assortment of possible remedies. Like many, I was a bit skeptical of accupuncture. After one, YES! only one treatment my pain had gone from an 8 to a 4! Now, after five sessions my pain is a 2!

Dr. Brazie’r is a true healer. I came to him after frustration with many other doctors being unable to offer anything other than pills to help with chronic neck pain, head aches, & insomnia. Dr. Brazie’r immediately asked me many questions about my physical, mental, & emotional well being to figure out what is contributing to my conditions. His acupuncture is truly amazing
