Dr. Jame’e Brazie’r

A NCCAOM Certified, in California and Louisiana Licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Dr. Brazie’r is among the most talented in the industry of natural medicine practitioners.

Life

Dr. Brazie’r is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, He was raised here in the bay area. Since he was a child he has always been fascinated with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He wanted to be a Chinese Medicine Doctor.

After graduating from High School he earned a degree in Radiology Technology from Canada College. While working on his first degree he worked at Mills Memorial Hospital as a Dietary Assistant and a Radiology Assistant. Then he worked as a Hospital Attendant in the Emergency Room at Seton Medical Center and for a number of Nursing Registries before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he worked as a MRI Tech.

In 1990, he learned and practice reflexology, he has additional experience as a Psychiatric Tech, conducting coping skills groups, for emotional, grief issues, and addiction problems. He also worked as a Home Health Aide helping the elderly and homebound patients with daily life activities, during which time he practice massage therapy.

He has lived in many places in the United States: Portland, Tulsa, Chicago, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles and Beijing, China before returning back to San Mateo.

Education

Dr. Brazie’r earned a Bachelors in Health Education with a Minor in Holistic Health from San Francisco State University. In Tulsa he was initiated in Reiki to the 2 level and practiced Reiki, massage and natural healing until he moved to New York and enrolled in Acupuncture School at Pacific College, he transferred to Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, and finally graduating from Samra University of Oriental Medicine, where he graduated in 2009, after which he went to Beijing, China for Advance Training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine working in the hospitals in Beijing. This is where he met the original author of CAM (Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion Book) Dr. Xinnong Cheng (Pictured Above with Dr. Brazie’r L.A.c. DAOM).

He has experience working in hospitals and clinics with a diversity of patients. he has experience using a diversity of acupuncture styles, Korean, Esoteric, Five Element, Meridian and Facial Rejuvenation. In his treatments he uses acupuncture, herbal formulas, massage,reflexology, cupping, gua sha, reiki and meditation.

Dr. Brazie’r is a Facial Rejuvenation expert and has taught many practitioners his facial rejuvenation protocols. After returning from Beijing he moved back to San Mateo and opened his practice after passing the California Acupuncture Licensing Exam and he continues to be excited to be working with the bay area residences.

Dr. Brazie’r completed his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) at Five Branches University in San Jose. Where he continued to further develop his knowledge and experience and has finished a Certification in Auricular Medicine, Women’s Health and Fertility and Neurology and Pain Management. Dr. Brazie’r has finished his doctorate with a specialization in Neurology and Pain Management with a minor in Family medicine. In 2013, he conducted a research study on Fibromyalgia for which the study survey is still active. He is an author for a online local news website, and has had his research published in a peer to peer review journal.
